General Information

 

·         All early voting is absentee voting. Whether you vote by mail, come into the Auditor’s Office or vote at a satellite station, you will be voting an absentee ballot.

 

·         All absentee ballots are counted on Election Day.

 

·         We must have a written request, signed by the voter, to issue an absentee ballot.

 

·         You must be registered to vote in Story County for your ballot to count.

Remaining option to vote early:

NOTE:  The last day to request a ballot to be mailed was Friday, October 31.

 

Vote in the Auditor’s Office

 

Voting is available in the Auditor’s Office Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm..

The Auditor’s Office is located in the Story County Administration Building at 900 6th St. in Nevada, IA, on the second floor.

 

In addition the Auditor’s Office will be open the following days:

 

ü       Saturday, October 25

8 am to 5 pm

 

ü       Saturday, November 1

9 am to 5 pm

 

The last day to vote in the Auditor’s Office is Monday, November 3.
