Voter Registration

The deadline to register to vote for the City Runoff Election is Monday, November 28, 2005 by 5:00 P.M. If you are sending your voter registration by mail, it must be postmarked by November 21, 2005.

Early Voting

NOTE: Changes in state law require that an official absentee ballot request form must be used for all elections held after September 15, 2004.

Absentee Ballot Request Form

Voters may now request absentee ballots for the City Runoff Election by filling out the "Official Iowa Absentee Ballot Request Form". Voters may download and print out the request form by clicking on the link above. Instructions for Vote by Mail (Absentee Ballot) Request Form.

Voters may also vote absentee in person at the Auditor's Office from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. weekdays. The last day to vote absentee in person is Monday, December 5, 2005.

To receive your ballot by mail, your request must be received by the Auditor's Office by Friday, December 2, 2005. Your absentee ballot must be postmarked by Monday, December 5, 2005 back to the Auditor's Office in order to be considered on time.
