Hwy S27 North of Maxwell Under Construction Story County Hwy S27 will be under construction starting on Tuesday July 13th, 2010 for an Asphalt Resurfacing project. This road will be reduced to one lane of traffic with a pilot car from Maxwell north 2 miles to Iowa Center.
13th Street (220th St.) Construction Story County Secondary Road 220th Street (13th St.) will be closed on July 6th , 2010 at 9:00 a.m. for a highway reconstruction project. This road will be closed from 570th Ave. East 1 mile to 580th Ave., just East of Interstate 35.
E-41 (Lincoln Way) Construction Story County Hwy E-41 (Lincoln Hwy) will be under construction starting on Friday June 25th , 2010 for an Asphalt Resurfacing project. This road will be reduced to one lane of traffic with a pilot car from 1 mile east of S27 East 4 miles to State Hwy 65.
Road Closure Notice - R38, Kelley to Ames Story County Highway R38 (510th Ave.) will be closed on April 1st, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. for a highway reconstruction project.
Bonding for Road Improvements On April 15th, 2008, the Story County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and took additional action to proceed with bonding for construction improvements to some county roads.
