Candidate List

Candidate Profiles

The intent of the candidate profile is to provide prospective voters with standardized and centralized information. It is optional for candidates to submit a profile. Candidates may post biographical, professional, educational, extracurricular, and contact information.

All candidates who provided an email address with the nomination papers were emailed a link to submit the optional candidate profile. Information is added as it is received so please check back for changes.

The candidate profile has been approved by the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board, as well as the Story County Board of Supervisors. Auditor Mary Mosiman received an Innovation Award from the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) for the creation of the candidate profile. Judicial Retention Elections

Voter Registration

The deadline to register to vote is Saturday, October 23, 2010 by 5:00 p.m. The Auditor's Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mailed registration forms postmarked by Monday, October 18 are considered on time even if received after October 23. New registrants in Story County may still register on Election Day (see below).

Election Day Registration: As of January 1, 2008, Iowa law allows you to register to vote on Election Day at the polling place for the precinct where you currently reside. You will be required to show proof of residence and proof of identity.
